Two of our Team HB members were honored at Tufts Medical Center’s annual Working Wonders Gala in March 2017. Their stories shared on the big screens at the event. The room so silent you could hear a pin drop.
We are so fortunate to have Shalah McDonough and Greg Cox as Team HeartBrothers members, to have them in our lives, and to call them friends.
And we’re thrilled to share their stories with you.

The Tufts Medical Center Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplant Center has graciously given us the gala video (below), so we can share Shalah’s and Greg’s stories with you. So you can hear, directly from them, about their journeys to heart transplant.
If you are reading this blog post–if heart failure affects you or a loved one–we hope this 6 minute video will give you strength. Give you hope. And know we are here. If you would like one of our Team HeartBrothers members to contact you, please reach out to us.
Shalah McDonough: “You don’t realize how sick you are, until you’re healthy. It’s …pretty remarkable.”
Greg Cox: “It’s like being reborn. It’s very hard to explain, it’s such a euphoric feeling. It is a miracle.”
